Description

Are you looking for a smaller plot in a quiet environment for weekend relaxation?
This flat 583 m2 plot could be a suitable candidate. It is located in the quiet picturesque village of Šarkan. You may ask why Šarkan is picturesque? It lies in a beautiful setting, in a valley between hills, with a stream flowing through it that leads to the nearby nature reserve Parížske močiare. The surrounding hills are covered with natural meadows and extensive acacia forests. At every turn, you can hear the silence, the voice of nature, the singing of birds, and the views from every corner of the village are simply picturesque.
There used to be an original clay house on the plot, of which only a pile of clay remains, but the good news is that it is still registered, which means that the construction of a new house, recreational cottage, or mobile home will be facilitated in terms of paperwork.
It is located in the intravilane of the village and is registered as built-up areas and yards. The plot has an irregular shape, the front part is narrower, about 18 m, and the back part gradually widens to about 23 m. The length is about 30 m. Water from the municipal water supply is connected to the plot, an electric pole is located directly next to the plot, and a gas pipeline runs in the alley. It has good accessibility, as there is an asphalt road leading on both sides of the plot.
The village has basic civic amenities, but in the neighboring Gbelce, you will find everything you need, including a restaurant, various shops, doctors, a pharmacy, and great transport connections with the city of Štúrovo and Nové Zámky. There is also a train station here.
The surroundings of the village of Šarkan offer many opportunities for leisure activities. In the 20 km distant town of Štúrovo, there is the largest thermal swimming pool Vadaš, where you will also find a border crossing to the historic Hungarian town of Esztergom. Just a short distance from the town begins the hilly area of the southernmost Slovak mountain range Burdov, and on the opposite Hungarian side lies the Pilis Mountains, where you will find numerous hiking trails with beautiful views of the winding Danube River.
