We offer you exclusively the well-established ski resort Skiland Stará Myjava, which lies in beautiful nature at the north of Myjavská Pahorkatina, at the foot of White Carpathians, in the massif of mountain range Javorina, near city Myjava. It is located at an altitude between 465 up to 550 meters above sea level. On its own land there is a cottage, teahouse, large garage with storage room and sanitary facilities. Ski slope, big parking lot and surrounding lands are under long-term lease. The slope has length 500, it features three lifts including one children’s lift, smooth operation ensured by four turnstiles. In the cottage there are 40 sitting places and if needed additional 100 seats can be provided in adjacent tent. There is also stage available for bands or DJ during cultural events inside the large capacity tent. If necessary, the center offers complete equipment for technical snowmaking, rental service of skiing and snowboarding gear, snowcat vehicle and two snowmobiles. Entire facility is sound-systemed and illuminated for evening skiing sessions. We will gladly provide more detailed information about technical parameters upon request. The Skiland Stará Turá ski resort does not limit its operations only to winter months but offers various cultural and social events throughout the year.
The surroundings provides many opportunities for hiking, cycling tours and other diverse leisure activities whether cultural or sports ones. Close by there is bike trial track and water reservoir.
Town district Myjava is situated within 10 km distance, Great Javorina – Holuby’s Hut 25 km away, castle ruins Branč 20 km off, Čachtice Castle Ruins 30 km distant, Gen. M. R. Štefánik Memorial Mound 20 km far. Also here exist possibilities both active or passive relaxation next to waterside recreational centers like Dubník Resort - 15 km away, Kunovská Reservoir and Green Water Recreation Area - 25 km apart.
