These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of bazadomu.com (the "Site"), operated by BazaDomu, IČO: 56125496 ("we", "us", "our"). By registering or using the Site you agree to these terms. Acceptance of these terms is separate from and does not constitute consent to the processing of your personal data - please read our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle your data and your rights under the GDPR.

1. Service Description

The Site is a real estate search and listing platform covering the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. It allows visitors to browse property listings and, for registered users, to post listings and communicate with other users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. User Obligations

By registering on the Site you agree that:

  • Content and materials you publish on the Site do not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties, are not offensive, discriminatory, or pornographic, and do not violate applicable EU or national law.
  • Information you provide (including property listings) is accurate and not misleading.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account - including using a strong password, keeping your login credentials confidential, using a secure e-mail address, logging out on shared devices, and reviewing your active sessions periodically.
  • You will not create multiple active accounts. If duplicate accounts arise (e.g. from using different e-mails on social networks), you will either delete the duplicate or notify us to merge them where technically possible.
  • You will not use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam), scrape data, or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms of Use;
  • Your account is used in a way that harms other users or the Site;
  • We receive substantiated complaints from other users or authorities.

Where possible, we will notify you of the reason. In cases of serious or repeated violations, suspension may occur without prior notice.

If you have paid for a service and your account is suspended due to a breach of these terms, any remaining unused paid period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, unless the breach involves fraudulent activity or causes direct harm to other users, in which case no refund will be issued. This does not affect any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

5. Content You Publish

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Site for the purpose of operating the service.

If you delete your account, your published content will be removed as described in our Data Deletion Policy. Content that was shared with other users before deletion may remain, with authorship attribution limited to your name.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is." We make no guarantee of continuous availability. In the event of service disruption or loss of your data caused by our fault, our maximum liability is limited to a refund of any fees paid for the period directly affected by the disruption.

This limitation does not apply to liability arising from our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to any statutory rights you have under EU consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by contract.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by e-mail at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may close your account before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, where national law applies, the laws of Slovakia. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Slovakia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.
